April 27, 2025 — Sunday's ride started from RSM Junction, with the GoGreen family pedaling together to the ancient Gavi Gangadhareshwara Swamy Temple — one of Bangalore's most iconic 16th century cave temples. After soaking in the heritage, the group headed to SLV Corner, Basavanagudi for a lovely, authentic South Indian breakfast!
The temple, carved out of a monolithic rock, is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is famous for its unique astronomical phenomenon — during Makar Sankranti, the sun's rays pass through the horns of the Nandi bull statue and illuminate the Shiva Linga inside the cave. The ride was topped off with piping hot idlis and filter coffee at the legendary SLV Corner!
